Community Day
Fun, Friendship, and Connection

At ELK Learning Academy, we believe learning does not happen only in books. Some of the most meaningful learning experiences come through creativity, collaboration, leadership, and fun.

Community Day is a special part of the ELK experience designed to encourage connection, hands-on learning, and a genuine love of learning. These events bring students together across academy divisions to participate in engaging activities, themed experiences, and shared projects throughout the school year.

One unique aspect of Community Day is the involvement of our Omega students. Older students may assist in planning, organizing, and leading activities for Alpha and Summit students, gaining valuable leadership experience and potential transcript credit through their participation.

Community Days are held on Thursdays, allowing Omega students time to prepare and support the activities. Themes may include STEM challenges, cultural experiences, collaborative projects, celebrations, games, and culminating academy events. Family ideas and community input are always welcomed.
