Omega High
Eagle
Strong Enough to Soar.
The Eagle year represents the culmination of the Omega journey, where students engage in learning designed to strengthen independence, wisdom, and purposeful thinking. Beginning as Eaglets and growing through the strength of their nest, students now prepare to soar through film studies, thoughtful analysis, meaningful discussion, and exploration of powerful ideas, symbolism, storytelling, and human experience. As they complete the journey, Eagle students carry their learning, confidence, and perspective into the world beyond the nest.
English Language Arts:
At the Eagle level, film studies becomes an exploration of stories, ideas, symbolism, and visual communication viewed through a deeper analytical lens. Through meaningful discussion, critical thinking, and examination of storytelling choices, students strengthen perspective while learning to evaluate film as both art and powerful human narrative.
Beyond Requirements:
The Eagle year creates space for personalized learning, electives, and future-focused opportunities designed to support student interests, goals, and post-high-school pathways. As students prepare to move beyond the nest, learning may expand through electives, specialized studies, dual enrollment, or individualized areas of growth and exploration.
Leadership & Legacy:
Eagle students explore leadership, character, communication, and purposeful decision making through meaningful discussion, reflection, and real-world application. As students prepare to move beyond the nest, they consider the impact, responsibility, and legacy they carry forward—not only for their own future, but for the students, communities, and world they leave behind.
Social Studies:
Eagle students engage in civics and economics through the study of government, citizenship, personal finance, economic systems, and responsible decision making. Through discussion, practical application, and meaningful exploration of real-world issues, students strengthen understanding of the responsibilities, freedoms, and choices that shape life beyond the nest.
Future-Focused Electives:
Having completed foundational studies, Eagle students gain opportunities to pursue future-focused electives, continue language learning, or explore individualized areas of interest connected to personal goals and future pathways. Students strengthen ownership of their education while preparing for life beyond the nest.
Time to Take Flight:
The Eagle year marks a season of preparation, reflection, and purposeful next steps as students prepare to move beyond the nest. Through growing responsibility, future planning, and meaningful experiences, students carry forward the knowledge, character, and confidence built throughout their journey from Eaglet to Eagle. It is time to take flight.
The nest prepared me well! I am ready to fly.
