Alpha Elementary

Eaglet

Gentle beginnings, growing confidence, and joyful first steps into learning.

Eaglet is the beginning of the Alpha journey where students learn how to be successful learners through gentle structure, encouragement, routine, and discovery. Early phonics, counting, hands-on activities, creative projects, and joyful exploration help students build confidence while developing the habits needed for future learning.

English Language Arts: Phonics is the primary focus at this level. Parents will provide the Get Ready, Set, and Go consumable books. These three books are intended to be completed during this school year.
Math: Students begin learning foundational math concepts including: number identification, number value,
shapes, counting, and colors
Science: Students are introduced to seasons, weather, plants, animals, and other simple science topics through observation, discussion, videos, and hands-on activities.
Social Studies: Students learn about themselves, their families, days of the week, months, holidays, and the people and routines in their immediate world.
American Sign Language: Students strengthen letter/letter sounds through visual language, conversation, and signing practice.
Hands-On Learning: Projects, videos, discussions, and creative activities support learning throughout the Eaglet year.
Eaglets learn one flap at a time before they soar.
